Practice philosophy: I believe in treating the whole person, rather than focusing on only treating diagnoses or symptoms. My goal is to work collaboratively with people to help them identify options for success and support them along the way.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about normalizing mental health as part of our whole health profile. Helping educate and treat mental health as it relates to a person's overall health picture is a great joy of mine.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I have always had a joy for helping others work through their difficulties through support, guidance, and assistance in seeing things differently.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Kindness can be a type of religion.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Helping other's develop new perspectives on life and/or their difficulties is something I will always enjoy.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? That it is generally advisable not to buy poor quality items that are between you and the ground: shoes, beds, and tires.
