Practice philosophy: My philosophy is person-centered care. I believe in meeting each person where they are and collaborating on working towards change. Each strategy that I use, I adjust based on someone's values, beliefs, and identities.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about providing community resources, education, and strategies for each client/family I work with.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? I would be an interior designer.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I have always been interested in childhood development, helping others, and family services. After exploring different careers, I decided to do mental health services because I get to do all three.
What is something you have learned from your patients?I have learned that collaboration is one of the fundamentals of building rapport.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received?One of the best advice that I received is to regularly do mental and physical check-ins on yourself.
What are you most proud of? I am proud to receive my LICSW. Because of this licensure, I can work in childhood development and family services.
What are a few of your personal achievements?I have climbed two volcanoes.
