Practice philosophy: I will take time to listen to patients' needs and goals to be a partner in their care. I value patient education and empowering patients with the strategies they need to maximize their function. I recognize that the human body is a group of systems that need to operate well together for patients to feel their best.
What are you passionate about and why? Understanding human movement and the dysfunctional patterns that impact function and pain.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I landed in this career because of my interests in science, medicine, sports, and human behavior. When I read the DPT curriculum I knew I had to pursue a degree in physical therapy.
What is something you have learned from your patients? The human body and mind are so resilient and has a huge capacity for healing.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Getting physical therapy and following through with it before AND after my hip surgery.
