Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy is to work in partnership with my patients to reach their unique health goals together and improve quality of life. I do this through partnership with my patients, education, communication and evidence based practice. I felt called to medicine to help improve others quality of life and am passionate about helping my patients achieve their goals with comprehensive whole person care.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about helping improve my patients quality of life. I enjoy educating my patients and ensuring that they understand their treatment plan. I want to improve health outcomes and allow my patients to live a healthier, happier, and more knowledgeable lifestyle.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be?A writer or a nutritionist

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I have always felt the call to help and care for others. As a nurse I saw patients at their most sick and wanted to be able to enact change at an outpatient level as well as grow my medical knowledge.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy that medicine is always changing and no two patient cases are alike. You really have to individualize care and keep up to date on current research. This allows me to keep growing and learning.

What is your personal health goal? Always keep active, keeping learning and keep growing.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? If you don't make time for your health now, you will be forced to make time for your illness later.

What are you most proud of? Building relationships with my patients and being a provider they trust bringing their whole family to and being able to impact lives in a positive way.
