Practice philosophy: Individuals are unique and I believe their healthcare should be treated this way as well. Orthopedic concerns may greatly impact day to day life and activities. Using a patient centered approach, we can assess the problem and mutually agree upon an individual treatment plan that the patient feels comfortable with.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about thoroughly educating patients and empowering them to make informed decisions. Ultimately, I strive to help patients return to and stay involved in the activities they love, allowing them to truly enjoy life.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? A travel planner. I love exploring new places and finding well hidden retreats.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I love empowering patients to achieve their goals whether it be playing on the high school soccer team or being able to keep up with their grandchildren.

What is something you have learned from your patients? Patients are generally very aware of themselves. Listen to and trust what your patient tells you.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Every patient is different. Things don't always go by the book. I appreciate a good challenge and working with patients to get creative and overcome obstacles.

What is your personal health goal? Utilizing daily meditation and activity program to improve mental and physical health.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Don't over complicate things. Keep nutrition simple with simple ingredients. Stay active even if it is a small walk with the dog every day. Life is about balance.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of having two stunning daughters while in school and beginning my career. While it was busy, it has been amazing watching them transform into unique little beings that crave new experiences and adventures.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Traveling to 13 countries and teaching my children to be curious about the world.
