Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? Because I never lose hope that people deserve and can achieve a better tomorrow.
What is something you have learned from your patients? The importance of laughter
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy the honesty and realness that comes with the work and the amazing resilience that my patients embody.
What is your personal health goal? Increased mindfulness
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? I stopped using alcohol December 17, 2006.
What are you most proud of? My sobriety and the two beautiful children I was blessed with after years of trying.
What are a few of your personal achievements? I qualified for the top 20% of a screenplay contest at the Austin Film Festival and was able to spend a week learning about film and writing. It was an amazing experience!
