What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about whole person care focusing on the mind, body and spirit. Your care and treatment plan should be unique and individualized to best suite you and your personal beliefs, goals and wishes.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? If I wasn't a health care provider I would be a nursing assistant or personal care assistant

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I become a provider after learning about complex health problems as a hospital nurse. My goal was to find a career helping patients achieve improved health outcomes and avoid hospitalizations.

What is something you have learned from your patients? I have learned from my patients to be grateful for health and wellness and enjoy life to the fullest as we may never know what challenges we may be faced with tomorrow.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy caring for those with complex medical diagnoses because I am able to assist patients and families with advanced care planning discussions and identifying individualized goals of care.

What is your personal health goal? Prioritize my physical and mental health and maintain a proper work/life balance

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? The best thing that I have done for my mental health is to participate in mindfulness daily. In addition, the best mental health advice I received from a mentor/colleague is to "give yourself grace".

What are you most proud of? I am most proud when patients entrust me with their care and identify me as their primary care provider, allowing me to work with them to help manage and achieve their individualized health goals.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Graduating with my bachelors degree and masters degree with high honors.
