Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy is to treat all of my patients as I would my family, to be approachable and lay out options and my recommendations. I hope that my patient's find my friendly but with good counsel during times of tough decisions and all are welcome in my practice.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about optimizing people's lifestyles and health. I hope to help people optimize their chronic medical conditions in order to help them realize their best potential.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? An engineer.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider because I knew I wanted the responsibility of being a doctor and also from my journey with my families own medical conditions.

What is something you have learned from your patients? My patient's teach me about different communication styles and it comes from their different experiences in life.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy the challenges of a busy professional career and balance my family and my own health. It's important to me to keep all three in balance.

What is your personal health goal? Stay as active as possible.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Find an activity/job that you love and build a lifestyle around it.

What are you most proud of? Youngest graduate in my medical class, graduated summa cum laude.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Graduated from UMN - chemistry/chemical engineering summa cum laude; Achieving high honors in my third/fourth year medical student clerkships; Brief stint of collegiate table tennis at the UMN
