Practice philosophy: I practice with a patient-centered approach. My goal is to provide patients with all the information they need to make the best decisions for themselves, not to make decisions for patients.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about disease prevention, early disease recognition and chronic disease management so my patients can live their healthiest lives.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Medicine is always progressing, so one of the biggest challenges is staying up to date on the best practices. However, this is a challenge I welcome as I love to always be learning.
What is your personal health goal? I like to stay as physically active as I can. For me, exercise is the best medicine!
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Staying active... and yearly skin checks!
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my family and my career. Finishing NP school while working as a bedside nurse. I'm also a new mom- which has been the most rewarding (and challenging) journey!
What are a few of your personal achievements? I have completed the TC marathon twice. I have also done a number of 10 mile runs, half marathons, the Tough Mudder, and a sprint triathlon.
