Practice philosophy: I like to look at the big picture. I enjoy putting the puzzle pieces together to find out what is really going on with my patient besides presenting symptoms, then adapt treatment to deliver the best possible outcome. I enjoy a collaborative environment taking a multi-disciplinary approach.
What are you passionate about and why? I love to see people reach the best version of themselves.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? I have always been a helper and caretaker. Working with animals or humans in another capacity.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I wanted an alternative way to help people outside of mainstream medicine. Witnessing the positive impact on patient lives while reducing or eliminating use of prescriptions solidified my decision.
What is something you have learned from your patients? The human mind is quite resilient when you are in the right environment.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? It is important to find the best solution for the patient by asking questions and making changes as treatment progresses.
What is your personal health goal? To focus more on my health journey and prioritize it.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? The best advice I received is to keep moving and exercise your mind! I am motivated to move, stretch, and challenge myself to keep an active lifestyle with fewer aches/pains as I age.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the continued support I receive from my friends and family. Life is easier with a great support network that encourages you when you start to second-guess your path. Without them, some of the most significant achievements in my life still may not have come to fruition.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University as class valedictorian.
