Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a nurse practitioner after working in the ICU as an RN for several years. I wanted to help patients with their health conditions before they got to the point of ICU care.
What is something you have learned from your patients? No two people are the same and what works for one person may not work for another.
What is your personal health goal? My personal health goal is to remain active into my senior years.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? You are in control of your health. Get all the information you need and choose what works best for you, as you are the person who has to live with the outcomes.
