What are you passionate about and why? A connection with people is important, I feel best when I can help people and if I’m not able to help, then find someone who can. Honestly and integrity are very important to me as well.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? I’ve considered starting my own business but I’ve known since high school I wanted to work in health

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I have worked in health care in many different facets, I wanted to have the ability to assess, diagnose and treat patients independently; this was a goal of mine, so I pursued my graduate degree.

What is something you have learned from your patients? I have learned that patients just want to be heard and understood and in my opinion to be direct about providing options, then it is their decision to make how to proceed.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Working with many different personalities, from co-workers to patients. I enjoy working through process improvement, many times there are several layers to work through.

What is your personal health goal? Whole body health: mind, body and soul. This can be difficult to achieve and persistence matters.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? One day at a time, be open to trying different things and change course if needed; keep trying until satisfied/happy.

What are you most proud of? My family and my career

What are a few of your personal achievements? Service Excellence Award for patient satisfaction with 90th % (6 cons months) 2020. Competing w/Arabian horses regional/national levels.
