Practice philosophy: As a previous patient with significant traumatic injuries, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to be removed from one's normal state of health. Thus I strive to provide high quality surgical care to all my patients, taking time to ensure they fully understand their disease process, and the various paths forward to return to a state of wellness.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I enjoy helping patients and families feel safe and well cared in time of distress and uncertainty. I once knew that feeling and appreciated the providers that did the same for me.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy the challenge of having to creatively solve problems to find effective ways to cure complex surgical and traumatic problems using current and evidenced based medicine.
