Practice philosophy: Working in urology, I have the opportunity to manage both acute and chronic conditions which allows me to form longstanding relationships with patients and their families
What are you passionate about and why? Growing up, I would see a physician assistant as my primary care provider. As I grew up and did more research, I was realized all the different roles in medicine that a PA could hold. Physician assistants could work in surgical specialties or primary care settings.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? After high school, I knew I wanted to be a part of the medical field. I explored the fields of cardiac rehab, PT and physician assistant.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Urology offers both acute and chronic diagnoses. I work hard to help patients and their families understand their diagnosis and the plan going forward.
