What are you passionate about and why? Growing up, I would see a physician assistant as my primary care provider. As I grew up and did more research, I was realized all the different roles in medicine that a PA could hold. Physician assistants could work in surgical specialties or primary care settings.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? After high school, I knew I wanted to be a part of the medical field. I explored the fields of cardiac rehab, PT and physician assistant.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Urology offers both acute and chronic diagnoses. I work hard to help patients and their families understand their diagnosis and the plan going forward.
