Practice philosophy: My goal is to be a resource to help educate and care for patients; help them navigate their health to achieve their ideal quality of life.

What are you passionate about and why? Social justice. There are so many things that impact a person’s health and it is important to ensure that all individuals have equal access to their highest level of health and wellness.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? My first shift volunteering in a hospital, I witnessed a team of care givers save a life. From that moment, I fell in love with Family Medicine and the continuity of care we are able to provide.

What is something you have learned from your patients? Quality of life is subjective; what is important to one patient is not to another. Providing information on all care options allows patients to make an informed decision on what is best for them.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Collecting relevant history by listening and learning from patients where they are in life so together, we can figure out their best path of care.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Regular exercise. For my physical and mental health; I try to exercise at least five days a week. Even 30 minutes of activity improves my sleep, energy, concentration and mood.
