What is your practice philosophy? Sandra believes in partnering with each person to increase self-compassion and acceptance which creates avenues for change and fulfillment of life goals.
Something I have learned from my patients is: I have learned to stay curious about life and constantly challenge my perspective to better understand each patient’s point of view.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I like the challenge of helping patients find their voice and determine the choices they can make to improve their mental health.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? The best advice I have received is “just keep moving until you find something you like to do”. I thought exercise needed to be chore but found ways I like to move and now exercise is something I look forward to doing.
