Practice philosophy: I strive to provide holistic care to women in a non-judgmental manner. I find many patients are nervous to come in for their gynecological exam, so I try to make their appointment as pleasant as possible. O a, easy to talk to and like to find humor in the little things.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: book editor (I like to read), or an ice cream tester!
Why I became a nurse practitioner: At age eight, I watched the birth of my brother and, at that tender age, I knew I wanted to work in obstetrics and gynecology.
Something I have learned from my patients: that each patient is unique and health care should be tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.
I am most proud of: I have three little boys who keep me busy. They can be challenging, but are constantly reminding me to savor each day as they won't be little forever.
