What is your practice philosophy? I have a patient-centered approach to care, treating every patient with individualized treatment plans. My goal is for patients to return to an optimal state of health and well-being. I actively listen to my patients’ concerns and provide compassionate care and education. I strive to always involve the patient and their family in health care decisions.
What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about fitness and health, my family and friends, working in medicine and having an impact on my patients’ health, traveling and exploring new cities, trying new restaurants in the twin cities, cooking, watching MN Vikings and MN Wild sports games, playing sand volleyball, waterskiing, hiking
Something I have learned from my patients is: Every patient has a unique story, and it is imperative to take the time to get to know each patient so you can create individualized treatment plans.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I love the challenges and problems that are frequently encountered in medicine and having to get creative and innovative to find solutions.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? I lift weights 6 times a week and hiring a knowledgeable trainer to invest in my personal health has been one of the best things for me physically, mentally and emotionally.
