What is your practice philosophy? Providing patient-centered care in a patient-centered environment.  

What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about taking care of patients where they feel most comfortable, whether that is a clinic, assisted living or their personal home. A patient’s home and community is where their lives are centered and therefore their health is centered too, so I want to be there too!  

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Park ranger at a national park 

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider to make a change in someone’s life. I knew from a young age that I wanted to serve people and create positive changes in others’ lives.  

Something I have learned from my patients is: I have learned that everyone has a story and a history that impacts the care I provide today and in the future.   

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why):  One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy helping all patient’s reach their personal goals of care no matter what those are!  

My personal health goal is: To spend as much active time outside with my kids as possible. I am interested in the 1000 hours outside in a year challenge.  

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Spending more time outdoors 

What are you most proud of? My family  

What are a few of your personal achievements? Personal achievements include creating and maintaining a beautiful garden when I previously could barely keep a cactus alive and becoming a mom in 2019!
