What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about spending the most time I can with my husband, family, and friends. I value education and the trust others place in me to help them through some of the most challenging moments of their lives

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Kindergarten teacher or Event planner

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I wanted to serve as an advocate for mental health as it is often pushed to the side and unaddressed. I have known since I was a teenager that I wanted to serve in the mental health field.

What is something you have learned from your patients? The value of time. It is limited and often taken for granted. It is so important to focus on the person in front you (e.g., patient, parent, spouse, friend) and really listen to what they are saying.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Integrating a person's mental health with other areas of well-being because it forces me as a provider to consider all aspects of an individual rather than hyper-focusing on just one

What is your personal health goal? To live more sustainably

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Integrate yoga into my life.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my persistence and work-ethic. I have worked extremely hard for many years to become a psychologist, and I am beyond excited to share my love and interest in psychology with others.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Being a Division 1 athlete; Obtaining my doctorate and becoming a Licensed Psychologist; Starting a family (first baby due June 2022)
