Dr. Khattab uses his background in radiation oncology and neurosurgery to pioneer novel treatments for benign conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, essential tremor, parkinsonian tremor, trigeminal neuralgia, chronic pain and mesial temporal lobe epilepsy.
Practice philosophy: I am grateful and humbled to be able to work with and guide my patients and their loved ones during the most challenging moments in life. When a patient asks me how I would treat them if they were my family member, I tell them that is the only way I treat all of my patients – just like family.
What are you passionate about and why? Treatment of patients with all types of malignancies including breast, prostate, lung and gastrointestinal cancers and brain tumors, using the most advanced techniques including VMAT, IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic ablative/body radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT), and brachytherapy.
