What is your practice philosophy? I want to partner with women during the cancer journey, to provide outstanding, compassionate, holistic care while utilizing an evidence-informed, integrative approach. I strive to empower women to be active participants in their care.

What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about reproductive justice. Having unrestricted, comprehensive access to reproductive healthcare is imperative to women’s health, especially since cancer treatment can impact a woman’s fertility and sexual health.

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: A gardener, because I really enjoy being outdoors and learning more about herbal medicine and plant wisdom.

Something I have learned from my patients is: The importance of listening. Every woman has her own story to tell.

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Talking with women about sexual health, because it is often difficult or uncomfortable for them to discuss, but I know it is impactful to their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? While in graduate school, I started practicing meditation daily. It has helped me to better manage my stress, but also learn more about myself and how I connect with the greater community.

What are you most proud of? The birth of my two sons
