What is your practice philosophy? To help women live their fullest lives through strong physician-patient communication.
What are you passionate about? And why? I am most passionate about scientific evidence and its use in both medical and day to day decision making.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Musician
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a physician to help others get the most out of their lives. I knew this was the right path after my own experience being a patient and the overwhelming, daunting experience of the medical unknown.
Something I have learned from my patients is: Most patient appreciate the experience of partnering with their provider to develop an optimal treatment plan while being treated with respect.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Educating people regarding their diagnosis and treatment options so that they can make a most-informed decision in order to accomplish their own personal goals.
My personal health goal is: To cut down on my caffeine dependency
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Everything in moderation (including caffeine, excluding fiber)
What are you most proud of? My three boys
What are a few of your personal achievements? Eagle Scout award NOLS mountaineering course completion
