What is your practice philosophy? Empowering and educating patients to help them make informed healthcare decisions.
What are you passionate about? And why? I’m passionate about striving to be the best fiancé, sister, daughter, and granddaughter that I can be.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: I would have been a teacher because I love working hard to expand my own knowledge, passing what I’ve learned on to others, and seeing them grow.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider to be able to have more capabilities when guiding a patient’s healthcare journey. I knew this was the right career for me when I saw how much a provider can connect with and empower patients.
Something I have learned from my patients is: I have learned each patient is truly unique and it is important to listen to their story and perspectives.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I love that each day has a new problem to solve. Putting together all the pieces of the puzzle to determine the best holistic plan for the patient is exciting and fulfilling.
My personal health goal is: To try more Minnesota wintertime activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing; Completing a half marathon
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? My fiancé and I started to take daily walks with our dog Nellie. Moving around in the fresh air has helped both physical health and mental health.
What are you most proud of? Having an opportunity to live with and help take care of my 92-year-old grandmother, Betty.
What are a few of your personal achievements? My fiancé and I buying our first family home; Being a fur baby dog mom
