What is your practice philosophy? Patient care is a shared decision making process and trust is important in a patient-doctor relationship. This is how real results are achieved.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? At age 11, had a major accident and was saved by a wonderful group of healthcare professionals. After that experience, I knew I wanted to help people in their recovery process.
Something I have learned from my patients is: No patient is just a number on the clinic schedule, they would rather be somewhere else, but they come to see me because they have medical needs that keep them up at night.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I enjoy making a difference in colon cancer prevention, any polyp I find and remove is one less that could have become cancer.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? I have tried to maintain an intermittent fasting schedule
What are you most proud of? My family, wife and 3 kids. They are the joy of my life.
