My practice philosophy is: I strive to use the evidence-based medicine and common-sense approaches to help every patient achieve their best health outcomes and highest quality of life possible. Each patient is unique, and their plan for health should be unique as well.
What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about my family and friends. The best memories regardless of activity are always made with those you love.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: A professional fishing guide. That being said, my success fishing some years suggests I shouldn't quit my day job.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider because I enjoy working with people towards a common goal, and achieving the best health possible is a great common goal. I knew I wanted to become a family medicine physician when I was a junior in high school and haven't looked back since!
Something I have learned from my patients is: Listening and communication are the most valuable tools a person can have.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Switching to a more plant-based, whole foods diet (although some fish and venison slips in there too).
What are you most proud of? My daughters Addie and Everly.
