What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about my family and friends. The best memories regardless of activity are always made with those you love.

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: A professional fishing guide. That being said, my success fishing some years suggests I shouldn't quit my day job.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider because I enjoy working with people towards a common goal, and achieving the best health possible is a great common goal. I knew I wanted to become a family medicine physician when I was a junior in high school and haven't looked back since!

Something I have learned from my patients is: Listening and communication are the most valuable tools a person can have.

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Switching to a more plant-based, whole foods diet (although some fish and venison slips in there too).

What are you most proud of? My daughters Addie and Everly.
