Practice philosophy: I strive to provide high quality, evidence-based care to all my patients. By treating patients as unique individuals, I am able to provide holistic, culturally competent care. Nursing is both a science and an art form, and I incorporate both into my practice.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be: a flight attendant, because I love to travel, experience new cultures and try new foods.
I became a provider because: I want to make a positive impact on the community that I serve. I grew up admiring my mom who is a nurse, and naturally I wanted to be a nurse as well. I decided I wanted to pursue my doctorate during my first year as an RN. I knew I could make a greater impact on my community with an advanced degree.
My personal health goal is: begin meal planning, so that my family can enjoy healthy meals despite our busy schedules.
I am most proud of: completing my doctorate while raising a family. I learned how resilient I am and how I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. The amazing support of my friends and family helped me to accomplish my goals.
