Alisha Freeburg, CNP
My specialties:
- Family medicine
Not accepting new patients in this area.
I am a certified family nurse practitioner with professional interests in adolescent health, acne, women's health and preventive care.
Hometown: Ham Lake, MN
I'm passionate about: finding ways to connect with people and using that connection to motivate people to take care of their health. I like to help a patient identify changes in their health habits or routines that can promote life-long benefits.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: volunteer while traveling abroad. I love to experience new cultures while giving back to local communities.
Something I've learned from my patients is: the importance of clear and respectful communication. The health care world can be complicated and confusing. It's important to meet a patient at their current level of understanding.
My personal health goal is: to take care of myself so I can help others.
The best things I do for my health are: value my sleep, drink lots of water, stay active and try to minimize the sugar in my diet.
Practice philosophy: I want to provide hope and guidance for individuals and families in their current state of health. I want to provide a positive experience for each of my patients while honoring their unique complexities and health needs.

service
She was patient and very thorough
I was treated with respect. I was included in decision making. My questions were met with care and concern. I was treated very well.
Very clear explanation easy to talk to
She was fine I guess
Good help.
I respect my PA and really appreciate the effort and hard work that goes into being a Provider. She is very kind and caring. My Provider is very talkative and overtalks , interrupts, finishes my "words" and talks "chitchats" about personal matters I didn't come there to discuss and then I get "rushed" and I don't get the time to ask my questions and talk about my conditions, procedures for the care I went in for. I feel very rushed and unheard, anxious and frustrated after appointments. I am a Licensed Counselor and know how important it is to listen to my clients. I feel better care if it's calm approach of one person speaking at a time so that your understanding and staying focused on the purpose for their visit.
She was very understanding of my health issues and showed great compassion.
She listened to me, understood all my questions, and was very thorough.
Very friendly
