I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

Dr. Dickinson started out with an interest in engineering but soon realized that his extroverted personality needed to interact with people or he would not be happy. 

"Since then, I have focused my passion for science on healing and serving others," he said.

"My parents really pushed me to challenge myself while growing up and to think outside of the box. This definitely helped me through my undergraduate studies," Dr. Dickinson said. "My college faculty really helped push me toward medicine. I was fortunate to work with many great physicians in medical school and in my residency training who helped shape me into the doctor I am today."

A native of Lafayette, Minn., Dr. Dickinson earned his undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He went on to complete his doctorate at the University of Minnesota Medical School and then returned to Mankato for a residency through the University of Minnesota Family Medicine Residency program.

"Family medicine is one of the only specialties where you can see a variety of patients from babies to the elderly and develop meaningful longitudinal relationships with them," he said. "I am driven by the bonds that I build with my patients, and I enjoy keeping them healthy."

He also feels like family medicine is a specialty where he can make a meaningful impact. "I feel that primary care and primary prevention are paramount to living a long and healthy life," he said.

In his time outside the clinic, Dr. Dickinson is kept busy with his young family. He and his wife, Kayla, have two children: Livia and Brooks. Family time is spent going for walks, watching movies, cooking, spending time at the cabin, and Mom and Dad reading to the kids.
