I am a certified physician assistant who sees patients on a walk-in basis in the urgent care.
I become a physician assistant because: after being a midwife for 22 years, delivering babies at home, I wanted to care for the whole family. For better or for worse, I've always been a caretaker.
My favorite place to travel: Mexico and Ecuador. I've travelled to and live in both and I love all of Latin America.
My patients have taught me: people need validation. They often know something is wrong and are seeking information and validation.
My personal health goal is to: live to be a centenarian.
I am most proud of: giving birth to all four of my children at home and delivering all three of my grandchildren. I've also ran seven marathons after the age of 50.
My personal achievements include: Taking my children on a trip down the Amazon river in a dug-out canoe. Founding the organization: Urban Paradise Project.
