I am passionate about: advocacy. Advocacy allows each of us to make the world a better place. I have always enjoyed getting involved in causes I believe in.
If I wasn't a doctor, I would be a: kayak instructor in Maui. I enjoy teaching, kayaking, and Hawaii; it would be a perfect fit!
My favorite travel destination is: driving the Icefields Parkway through Jasper and Banff National Parks in Alberta; actually I have many but this tops my list. The Canadian Rockies are gorgeous, and hiking on the Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National Park is one of my favorite all-time memories.
Something I have learned from patients is: everyone is on a different path. Listening to each patient and their story can help us to empathize and better understand that path.
My personal health goal is: to maintain a balance between work and play. I've completed several half marathons, and I hope to do many more.
