Laura Sandquist, CNP, DNP, is a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner specializing in functional medicine seeing patients 13 years of age and older. She has been a registered nurse for over 15 years and a nurse practitioner since 2012.
I’m interested in partnering with people to help them safely navigate and use the best of what integrative and conventional medicine both have to offer. I provide help with chronic health concerns and guidance on creating wellness plans that will prevent disease, and optimize health and vitality.
I'm passionate about: using food as medicine and exploring how stress, sleep, spirituality, relationships and the environment are all connected to health and what to do about it.
A challenge of my career I enjoy is: deeply listening to the whole story and discovering what factors may be contributing to why someone has a disease or symptoms. Then taking a step further and guiding people through the complexity of making lifestyle changes that will work for them.
The best thing I've done for my health is: to eat more healthy fat and protein, and eliminate a food that was causing symptoms.
