I am a pediatric hospitalist, which means I do not have a clinic practice but only see patients who have been admitted to the hospital. I enjoy working with my pediatric patients and their families during this stressful time.
I really enjoy engaging my patients and their families in the treatment plan. My goal is to seeing them leave the hospital feeling great and with a strong understanding of their disease process and how to stay healthy.
I love working with people, and I love health. The science behind medicine is very interesting and exciting. The variability in the provision of health care to each individual and the vastness of what we still don't know in medicine keeps my job invigorating and challenging on a daily basis.
What I tell family and friends: Exercise, eat healthy, sleep, de-stress, and don't smoke.
What patients says about me: That I take the time to get to know them on a personal level.
Favorite health tip: If it consistently makes you stressed or depressed, let it go and set yourself free.
