Hometown: Niagara Falls, NY
Best part of my work: seeing patients become healthier and stronger people and able to manage and overcome their symptoms, illnesses or stress in their lives.
Why I became a psychologist: My mother taught me to be compassionate towards all people which contributed to my desire to help those facing emotional, behavioral and psychological challenges.
What I tell friends and family: Take time to take care of yourself on a daily basis and take time to “recharge your batteries”.
How I spend my free time: Spending time with family, gardening and enjoying my cats. I’m a fan of the Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves.
What patients say about me: I am easy to talk to.
Favorite health tip: Have some “down time” on a regular basis – time without commitments, pressures or demands.
Practice philosophy: Listen and validate my patients’ concerns and work with them to find ways to improve their symptoms and lives.
