I am a primary care provider and only see patients virtually. While patients are unable to establish regular care with me, I am committed to helping patients with their health needs.
I'm passionate about: slowing down to listen to my patients. I feel the only way to truly help someone is to stop and listen to their story first.
The best health advice I've received is: to focus on the small steps toward achieving your goal, whether it be running that first mile or losing those first couple pounds.
One of the challenges of this career I enjoy is: the constant learning that comes with being a nurse practitioner. It keeps me on my toes!
My hero is: Mother Teresa. She was an amazing example of self-less giving.
I knew I wanted to become a nurse practitioner: after working as a nurse in a hospital and intensive care unit, where I became passionate about preventive medicine. It's my goal as a provider to help keep patients as healthy as possible to prevent hospital visits.
My personal health goal is: to continue to be aware of what and how much I am eating, and sitting down for meals instead of always eating on-the-go.
My personal health challenge is: to lose my extra baby weight by going to the gym at least three days a week, and taking walks with my family as long as the weather is nice.
My favorite books are: The Help and Eat, Pray, Love.
