If I wasn't a provider I would run a restaurant!
Why did you become a provider? Because the body fascinates me.
Something I have learned from my patients: I was taught very early on that most patients tell you exactly what is wrong with them if you take the time to listen.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is keeping up with the rapid pace of advancing science.
My personal health goal: I have my sights set on a 10th half marathon.
What is the best thing you've done for your health? Change to a 100% plant-based diet. Hands down, the best thing anyone can do for their health.
What are you most proud of? Starting the first 100% plant-based restaurant in the Twin Cities metro area.
What are a few of you personal achievements? Nine half-marathons, hiking around Mount Rainier, staying productive after surgery for a benign brain tumor.
