Why I became a physician: My grandfather had a sudden loss of eyesight and this made me realize that not everyone can have perfect health. He and my family had a lot of respect for the doctors that helped him through this transition, and inspired me to go into a career in medicine.
What I tell my friends and family: Don't text and drive. Wear your seatbelt. :)
How I spend my free time: Staying connected with family, traveling, attending WILD games, and volunteering with the Faribault Area Hospice Foundation and State Trauma Advisory Council
