I am a board-certified pediatrician with professional interests in preventive health services, infant and newborn care, chronic medical conditions such as asthma, ADHD, and care of international patients. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I’m passionate about: traveling, hiking, trying new cuisines and learning about different cultures.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be: an explorer! I love to travel and study people, cultures, geography and history.
I knew I wanted to become a physician: during my childhood because I always enjoyed being a caregiver. As I got older, I knew that I would enjoy the opportunity as a doctor to nurture, support and mentor young people and their families.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: talking with patients about adopting lifestyle changes, such as eating a more balanced diet and promoting good safety habits, so they have better health outcomes.
My personal health challenge is: maintaining a good balance between work, getting enough exercise, maintaining good relations and having a healthy spiritual life.
The best thing I’ve done for my health is: to eat a more plant-based diet, including organic foods and mostly home-cooked meals.
I’m proud of: being someone who’s moved to Minnesota from an island. I’ve had the opportunity to learn many new activities like broomball, horse riding, and sailing.
My most profound memory is: going on a medical mission trip to Togo, West Africa. Seeing the disparity in life there, made me more aware of the need for compassion towards all people.
