What is your practice philosophy? I hope to guide and assist patients (and their families) achieve their health goals through developing a patient centered relationship
What are you passionate about? And why? Providing healthcare access to all types of people regardless of their gender, race, sexual orientation, disability or social status. We are all humans who deserve equal access to healthcare as a right.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Architect, contractor or interior designer because I appreciate home design and real estate.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I wanted to find a way to apply my problem solving skills and desire to help people with their goals. I knew family medicine was for me when I wanted to develop long term relationships with all types of people, at all stages of life.
Something I have learned from my patients is: We are all humans going through different challenges and victories. In the end,we all want to be heard and cared for. Everyone’s journey is unique and precious.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Each day is full of new challenges and opportunities to learn from my patients.
My personal health goal is: To pursue regular outdoor activities all year round.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Finding physical activities to do with friends, family and loved ones so that we may all enjoy its health benefits while bonding together.
