Best part of my work: Helping people realize they can live happier, healthier and more satisfying lives.
Why I became a doctor: I'm fascinated by the way our minds work and the incredible impact our minds have on our overall health. I am lucky to be able to do what I love.
What I tell friends and family: Keep your mind active and engaged - it is the key to better mental and physical health.
How I spend my free time: Biking, reading, playing piano, cooking and spending time with my children and dog.
What patients say about me: My warm, open, non-judgmental approach makes it possible to think about, talk about and address concerns they hadn't been able to in the past.
Practice philosophy: I focus on integrating physical and mental health care, which leads to healthier, happier patients and better overall health care.
Health tip: I love biking! The Twin Cities has one of the best biking areas around. It's a great way to have fun, get some exercise and spend time with family.
