I am a doctor of psychology with professional interests in mood disorders, life transition, stress management, anxiety and panic, grief and loss, and trauma recovery. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
Practice philosophy: Once clients trust that their thoughts and feelings will be accepted and respected, we start working together to solve their problems and restore their health. I work with clients to help them take advantage of and extend their existing strengths. We can often identify concrete strategies or behaviors that will alleviate some of their distress relatively quickly. Other times, the process involves developing insight into unproductive patterns of thought or behavior and then learning to modify those patterns in a way that leaves them feeling better.
