[...] My medical background is complicated and although my appointment began with me feeling rushed regarding my current situation (hard to explain without past information,) I was thankful the doctor continued to explore more in depth my medical history while doing the exam/testing.

I really, really like Dr. Rippe. I was nervous about the test, but he got me talking about my writing, and so calmed me that I almost enjoyed it.

Dr. Rippe performed an EMG on my right and left hands. He thoroughly explained the procedure in a very understandable and concise manner, including performing three test on himself to show me how my fingers would respond to the test. He was very engaging and knowledgeable about the test, answering all of my and my wife's questions and adding extra information. He was also very engaging, asking about my activities and showing real interest in them. At no time did I ever feel "talked down to" or that Dr. Rippe talked in technical jargon specific to his specialty. He made everything very understandable.

Dr. Rippe was very nice respectful & I told him I have never had a doctor spend so much time with me, usually doctors are in & out of the rooms so fast like there in a hurry so it was nice he wasn't rushed at all or he seemed not to be rushed.
