Practice philosophy: My philosophy is to provide compassionate, evidence-based oncology care that treats the whole person, not just the disease. I strive to empower patients and families through education, support, and shared decision-making, while focusing on comfort, quality of life, and dignity at every stage of the cancer journey.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about supporting patients and families through every step of the cancer journey. Oncology allows me to combine compassionate care with evidence-based practice to improve quality of life and empower patients in their treatment decisions.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? A police officer.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? From a young age, I felt called to care for others. My experiences over time confirmed my passion for becoming a provider and supporting patients through every stage of their health journey.
What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients have shown me that hope, courage, and connection are vital parts of care, often as impactful as the medicine itself.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Oncology is constantly evolving, and I enjoy the challenge of staying up to date with new treatments so I can offer the best, evidence-based care to my patients.
What is your personal health goal? I strive to model healthy living through regular exercise, mindful nutrition, and self-care.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? The best thing I’ve done for my health is learning to maintain balance - staying active, eating well, and caring for my mental wellness.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my family. My children bring me joy, balance, and perspective, which inspire me to be the best version of myself both at home and in my career.
