Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy is to use evidence based medicine to provide the best care possible.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about practicing medicine in the best way I know how which is to carefully listen, observe, examine, order tests when needed, formulate a diagnosis and then provide treatment options to the patient.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Mechanical Engineer or an Environmental Scientist.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I have always been interested in the way anything worked. The human body is the most complex system I know and the more I learned the more about it the more I wanted to learn.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? I have stayed physically active my whole life. I think this has been my most effective way to deal with the stresses of my career and the challenges we all face in life.
What are you most proud of? My daughter.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Completing four Tough Mudders and 11 NorthShore Inline Marathons. Skating 50 miles on my inline skates on my 50th birthday.
