What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about holistic, patient-centered care because I believe true health includes not only physical wellbeing, but also the emotional, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of each individual. My goal is to support whole-person wellness through compassionate, personalized care.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Deep sea diver - I love the water and am in awe of the ocean’s beauty, depth, and mystery.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I knew medicine was my calling from a young age, with a love for science and human connection. Family medicine drew me in because I enjoy treating patients of all ages, from birth to end-of-life.
What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients have taught me the importance of truly listening and understanding each individual's unique priorities. No two people are the same, and the best care must always be individualized.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Medicine is constantly evolving, which is both challenging and exciting. Staying current with new medical research requires lifelong learning, but also offers opportunities to improve patient care.
