What is your practice philosophy? Meet the patient where they are.
What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about helping people resume daily activities and exercise routines pain and dizzy free.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Veterinarian because I love animals
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I always knew I wanted to go into healthcare. I needed physical therapy myself following a shoulder surgery. Once I was exposed I was hooked. I loved the idea of getting to know my patients so well and helping them heal.
Something I have learned from my patients is: Everyone required a different path to healing. Similar diagnoses can require a totally different approach based on personality, work/home needs, and patient goals.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I enjoy the challenge of always thinking on my feet. Although I have a plan for each session, I have to be able to easily adapt to different stressors the patient might be going through both physically and emotionally.
