Why you became a physician: I became a physician because it is the perfect balance of academic pursuit and profound personal relationships. Medicine is continually evolving and improving which inspires daily learning regardless of experience. The relationships I am able to build with patients are especially gratifying being founded on openness, mutual trust, and respect.
Fun fact about yourself: In college, I had a part time job as a log rolling instructor. (Yes, the water sport where two people stand on a free-floating log and roll until someone falls off).
How you like to spend your free time: Golfing, running, hiking. Spending as much time as possible outdoors on the trails and lakes with my wife (Melissa) and dog (Fynn).
