Best part of my work is: the moment patients realize what pharmacy practitioners can actually do to help them, and receiving their comments of gratitude for helping sort through their medications. I also love the ability to get to know patients on a more personal level.
I became a provider because: I love meeting with patients one-on-one to take care of their medication-related needs. I think pharmacists play a unique role on the health care team, as we are the medication experts. The ability to work inter-professionally to ensure the best care is given to patients is something I look forward to every day.
Practice philosophy: I strive to build therapeutic relationships and establish a foundation of trust with each and every one of my patients, as this is what ultimately allows them to be fully-active participants in their care. My goal is to make each one of my patients feel more empowered about their health and medications.
