Jessica Stewart, DNP, APRN

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine with professional interests in mental health, women's health, pediatric/adolescent care, preventive care and chronic disease management. I offer face-to-face and virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

My practice philosophy: The most rewarding aspect of my job is establishing meaningful relationships with my patients. My goal is to always meet individuals where they are at and take steps together as a team to achieve a higher level of health and wellbeing. I encourage my patients to be active participants in their healthcare decisions, while personally striving to promote long-term and trustworthy relationships.

I am passionate about: Teaching! I enjoy taking time with my patients and their families to really cover key aspects of their health, educating on the importance of prevention, as well as the why's of recommended treatment. 

My patients have taught me: No two individuals are the same and it is important to find out what matters most to them. Each patient needs a personalized approach to managing their health. Working together on establishing goals is key.

The best thing I have done for my health: Finding daily time to take care of myself, even if just for a few minutes. Also, moderation is key - finding a good balance of making healthy daily decisions that aren't fully restrictive has been really helpful.
