David S. Hanson, MD

I received my undergraduate degree from Bethel College, St. Paul, Minnesota and my medical degree from the University of Minnesota. I performed my internship and residency in internal medicine at University of Minnesota. I served as Chief Resident at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center. My fellowship in Gastroenterology was earned at University of Minnesota. I am board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

I am a member of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Physicians. My special interests are biliary tract disease, IBD and colorectal cancer screening. I have served in a variety of leadership positions at Minnesota Gastroenterology over the years.
